Built for commercial pig operations
Run the whole pig business with the numbers in front of you.
Sows, barn work, feed budgets, trucking and settlements in one clear record — from the first breeding to the final packer check.
- Farrow to finish
- Every farm and barn
- Phone-ready in the aisle
- Real closeouts, not estimates alone

A real PigGrid screen using verified-clean demo-company records. No customer data appears here.
Follow the pigs, not five separate systems.
PigGrid is organized around the work your people already do. Each entry lands in the same working system, so the office is not rebuilding the story from scratch at closeout.
- 01
Breed and farrow
Keep every sow's status, breeding dates, pregnancy check, farrowing record and wean result together.
- 02
Walk the barns
Record conditions, symptoms, treatment and death loss while the work is still in front of you.
- 03
Feed to a budget
Plan pounds and dollars per pig, order by barn and see what remains in every feed phase.
- 04
Move, sell and settle
Book the truck, keep the paperwork with the load and finish on the mill bill and packer payment.
Know the feeding plan in pounds and dollars.
Build a full-feed budget for the group before the first order. PigGrid shows the estimated cost per pig, the total budget for the head on feed and what is still needed in each phase.
- Budget per pig
- Budgeted pounds in each phase, priced with the current feed formula.
- Total group budget
- The cost per pig multiplied by the head the plan is built to feed.
- Still to buy
- Budget less feed delivered and feed already on order, shown by barn and phase.
- Final mill cost
- What the mill actually billed replaces the estimate in the finished closeout.

The barn knows what is coming.
Order the right diet into the right bin with the tons and delivery window attached.
The mill answers in the same place.
The mill can accept the order or answer with a different quantity, without a voicemail chain.
The books end on the invoice.
Import the mill statement or enter it by hand. Estimated cost stays labeled until the actual bill is settled.
Give the breeding crew tomorrow’s work list today.
Keep a clean roster from heat through weaning, then turn due dates into queues the crew can work from the top down.
- One timeline per sow: heat, first and second breeding, pregnancy check, farrow and wean.
- Problems first: overdue farrowing, late pregnancy checks, missed heat windows and repeat returns.
- Fast barn entry: filter, scan, use row order or import a spreadsheet instead of opening 400 records.

The demo screen has 434 matching sows. The count is shown before the event is applied, so a broad filter is visible before it becomes a broad change.

Run the load from booking through the packer check.
Trucking has its own daily place in PigGrid — not a note hidden inside feed or a sale rebuilt after the truck leaves.
- 01
Book the route
Set the pickup, drop, purpose, dates, carrier and driver. Head can stay marked as still to be counted until the truck rolls.
- 02
Keep the load moving
The office and carrier work from the same load as it is accepted, loaded, in transit and delivered.
- 03
Finish the paperwork and money
Owner-shipper certificates and bills of lading stay with the load; the packer's actual head, weight and net payment finish the sale.

Feed settlement + market settlement
Close the group on what was billed and paid.
The feed side compares the planned program with the mill’s statement. The market side records what the packer settled: head sold, live and dressed weight, base price, premiums, deductions, trucking allowance and net value.
The finished closeout brings those actual dollars together with death loss, days on feed and feed conversion — the pounds of feed used for each pound of gain.
Walk through a real closeoutA clean closeout starts with a one-minute barn record.
Barn staff record the day once. Managers see missed work and unusual loss; the health team sees cases and trends; the group keeps the record all the way to sale.

Bulk work without the retyping
Use the spreadsheet you already have.
Preview and match the file before it changes the record. The goal is less typing, not a faster way to save a bad column.
- 01
Sow activity
Bring in heat, breeding, pregnancy-check, farrowing and wean events from the spreadsheet your crew already keeps.
- 02
Feed mill statements
Map a mill's spreadsheet columns once. PigGrid remembers the layout, matches its group names and keeps the billed cost on the right group.
- 03
Packer settlements
Import supported packer workbooks or enter the settlement by hand, then review it before it becomes sale revenue.
Your operation is not mixed with anyone else’s.
Every PigGrid customer gets a separate database. When PigGrid answers a request for your operation, it connects to your records — not a shared table full of every customer’s numbers.
Inside your company, your administrator decides which farms each person can see and can add or remove access at any time.
PigGrid staff can help set up your team, fix a permission or import records, and every action our staff take in your company is written to an audit trail in your own database, where your administrator can read it.
The questions that come up before a demo.
- What does PigGrid cost?
- Pricing is sized to the operation — head count, farms, barns and the parts of PigGrid you need. We quote it in the first conversation because a 3,000-head site and a 100,000-head system are different jobs.
- How long does it take to get running?
- Usually days. We set up farms, barns, groups and people with you. Existing sow activity and feed mill spreadsheets can be mapped and imported instead of typed again.
- Our barn staff are not software people.
- A daily check-in is a short form on a phone. The breeding boards and attention lists tell people what is due without asking them to build a report. The office gets the rollup without chasing texts.
- Can a pig's history follow it when we sell to another PigGrid customer?
- PigGrid can link two approved producers by PigGrid ID today and mark the relationship as a pig-transfer partnership. Automatic handoff of the group's full record between customer accounts is not built into the transfer itself yet, so we do not sell that as a finished feature.
- What happens when the mill bill is different from the plan?
- The feed plan remains the budget. The mill statement records what was actually billed, line by line for the group, and the finished closeout uses that settled cost instead of quietly treating the estimate as final.
- Who owns our data?
- You do. Your records live in a database reserved for your operation, and you can export your reports and working lists.
